It feels so lovely on the skin that I want to make it into something to wear, vs a scarf, but at 400 yards, I don't know what I could make. This is my first-ever baby garment/accessory, the Eyelet Baby Hat from One Skein Wonders, knit for a friend who recently had a baby girl here in Switzerland. It was really quick to make and looks cute finished, although next time I'd adjust the edging. My aunt's friend is expecting her first baby, and my mom and I were asked to make a few gifts my aunt could give her. My mom chose a blanket, and I chose a baby kimono and I am waffling between baby booties and baby socks, and maybe a hat (I have plenty of yarn left over from the sweater).

So, I've got this skein of silk that I've been absolutely dying to use (for a year now!), but I need some help. It's Blue Moon Fiber Arts, 1000 yards, 100% silk and a very light laceweight (heavier than the Skacel cobweb laceweight, but thinner than Knitpicks Shimmer).
